Buckeye Mela is a national inter-collegiate Bollywood Fusion and Bhangra dance competition held annually at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. This year, the competition will took place the weekend of January 27-29, 2017 at the prestigious Mershon Auditorium on OSU campus. 8 Fusion and 8 Bhangra teams are selected to compete for top prizes in their respective categories. Founded by OSU's Indian American and Indian Students Associations, Buckeye Mela has grown to be The Ohio State University’s largest philanthropic South Asian event, and the biggest South Asian dance competition in the Midwest. In our tenth year of existence, we guarantee this year’s competition to be the best Mela yet, and one of the most entertaining weekends in either dance circuit’s history!
